About

The Carroll County Farm Museum provides the public with the opportunity to experience mid-nineteenth century rural life. The Museum grounds include original farm structures such as the Farmhouse, bank barns, a smokehouse, general store exhibit, saddlery, springhouse, living history center, wagon shed, and one-room schoolhouse. Period artifacts and antiques complete the rural experience. In addition to tours, Living History Camp and Traditional Arts Classes, festivals are held on various weekends May through October. They include Civil War Living History Re-enactment, Blacksmith Days, Fiddlers' Convention, Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration, Summertime Fun Festival, Steam Show Days, The Maryland Wine Festival, Fall Harvest Days, and the Holiday Visit.
